Mitesh began his career in 1995 as a computer teacher teaching computer languages and applications at Aptech Computer Education, Surendranagar. Gradually he learnt the computer training institute’s day-to-day operations and started his own computer education institute, Advantage Computer Education at Ahmedabad in 1997. He taught more than 2000 students in a span of 5 years through his 2 centres in Ahmedabad. As an entrepreneur in education this was his first major achievement which helped him understand students and their needs and do a business.
Later, due to Dotcom Bubble Burst in 2000, he closed his education institutes in 2002 and became a professional educational consultant providing consultancy in foreign education, foreign university tie-ups, distance education centres, Indian university tie-ups etc. These helped him understand the pre-primary to senior secondary school education system as well higher education system at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in India and Abroad. He helped more than 3000 students and 3 education organizations at Ahmedabad in the span of 5 years.
PT education, Indore
In 2005, he joined PT education at Indore and focused on learning, understanding and catering to the needs of MBA aspirants preparing for various undergraduate and postgraduate BBA and MBA entrance exams respectively. He shouldered the responsibilities of running the oldest centre with thousands of students per annum and focused on students’ success. Gradually he learnt and gathered experience on managing a huge pan-India network of centres, training the trainers, developing systems and processes, implementing state-of-the-art technologies etc. He deeply understood the importance of the vision, mission and core values in an organisation’s philosophy in his 6 years at PT education headquarters.
Startup Launchpad, Ahmedabad
Now that he had rich experience as a professional and as an entrepreneur, so after relocating to Ahmedabad in 2011, he started mentoring startups and also planned his own startup, Startup Launchpad. Though the idea of creating a marketplace business for startups was niche, the revenue model could not do justice even after spending almost 2 years and reaching out to 150+ cities with 1000+ registered members in Startup Launchpad. It was shut down in mid 2017 as a successful failure giving lots of niche entrepreneurial experience to him.
